Faith Statement

We believe in a triune God.

There is one God who is infinite, eternal, almighty, and perfect in holiness, truth, and love, existing in three coexistent, coequal, and coeternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Bible is the inerrant and infallible work of God.

It is inspired by God; therefore, as originally given, the Bible is free of error in all it teaches. The Bible is authoritative, providing guidance for all Christian life, practice, and doctrine.

We believe in the Gospel.

The gospel is the good news that God is reconciling sinners to himself in the person and work of Jesus Christ. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus is the demonstration of his mysterious love and reveals the amazing grace.

We believe in the life after death.

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. Separation means to be in hell, and union means eternal life. Heaven and hell are literal places of eternal existence.

⁠We believe in baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as ordinance.

Baptism serves as a visual and symbolic demonstration of a person’s union with Christ. It signifies a former way of life put to death and a person’s release from the mastery of sin. The Lord’s Supper symbolizes the breaking of Christ’s body and shedding of his blood on behalf of the believers. We partake of the Lord’s Supper with an attitude of self-examination. We remember the death of Jesus, receive spiritual nourishment for our soul, signify unity with other church members, and look forward to Christ’s return.

Our Story

Biblical Faith Church Ministries was founded in 1996 by Pastor Nathaniel. After retiring from the Pakistan Army, he felt a deep calling from the Lord to begin church ministry in Nishat Colony, Lahore, Pakistan. With a heart for the Gospel, he and his family dedicated a room in their home for congregational worship.
The hand of the Lord was upon the ministry, and the congregation began to grow day by day. Soon, the room could no longer accommodate the people who were coming to worship. After prayerful consideration, they decided to rent a building as a gathering place for the church. God continued to send people, because His Word was being faithfully proclaimed, and the Holy Spirit was transforming lives.
On 4 Nov 2001, Pastor Nathaniel went home to be with the Lord. After his passing, his son Pastor Alvin John took up the responsibility of shepherding the church. Through devotion, prayer, and study of God’s Word, he witnessed the Holy Spirit move powerfully, and the church experienced remarkable growth. While still meeting in the rented building, Pastor Alvin longed for a permanent home for the congregation. By God’s provision, a church building was completed and officially inaugurated in 14th May 2017.
The ministry continued to expand beyond Nishat Colony into various regions of Pakistan. Today, both of Pastor Alvin’s sons, Pastor Shaalim John and Barook John, are faithfully serving to carry forward the vision. They are dedicated to equipping the saints and taking the Gospel to the lost, ensuring that the mission of Biblical Faith Church Ministries continues to impact lives for Christ
